The coronavirus has meant that a lot of us are now staying at home. All the schools, universities, and officesare close and few days at home are essential because of everyone’s safety.

For those who are used to staying at home, lockdown is easy. But for those who hardly spend any time at home, it has been very challenging. The clock has basically stopped for them and they are looking for something productive and comforting to do with their time indoors.

Cooking and baking are two tried and tested activities, that will not only pass the time but also teach you some valuable life skills that are going to stay with you forever. Also, cooking can be one of the best ways to reduce anxiety and lift your mood.

For me, cooking is a passion;most days, I try to cook something new for my kids. My readers know, I don’t cook anything without cheese though. I have bought a lot of burger cheese slices, and I am continuously experimenting with them.

Mini burgers or sliders

They look like cute little burgers and arethe perfect dish for my kids, I don’t have to convince them to eat whole big burgers, and I can easily control the portion sizes.

Mini burgers are easy to prepare; all you have to do is grab some mini buns. Cut them in half and add patties, tomatoes, grilled onions, and slices of American cheese. You can also brush some butter on top and bake them for a couple of minutes so that the cheese holds everything together as it melts.

American cheese ravioli

Imagine the compliments you get if you made your own homemade cheese ravioli. Yes, it is possible, and it is super easy. Usually, mozzarella is used in ravioli, but you know I love experimenting, and also, I have American cheese slices available at home, so I used them for my ravioli.
